Is there no justice in the world? Apparently not. What is Lifetime thinking? I just found out one of my favorite guilty pleasure shows, Drop Dead Diva is being cancelled! And just after last season’s mouth dropping finale surprise (Owen having his fatal heart attack on the day of his almost wedding).

So maybe the show wasn’t exactly Downton Abbey, but it wasn’t supposed to be. It was campy and fun and I adored plus sized heroine Jane, played brilliantly by the uber talented Brooke Elliot.

Let me misquote Jane Austen here and say, Badly Done, Lifetime! Badly Done! Let’s hope that some other network has the smarts to pick it up.
