Creepy Good

I admit it. I was one of those kids in grade school who loved to repeat funny words over and over. I Probably drove the nuns crazy. One of my favorite funny words was, and still is, oxymoron.  Not only does it sound funny rolling off the tongue it also served multiple purposes (You oxymoron, you!).

Yeah, I really didn’t understand what it meant till middle school and probably never used it correctly until at least high school. It’s one of the words that you have to experience a bit of life to understand.

My favorite oxymorons? I have quite a bit. Like sexy ugly and awful nice and adult male (couldn’t resist that last one).

This past week I read a book that I can only describe as an oxymoron. Brilliantly-awful or creepy-good. Take your pick. Either way, what I really mean to say is that I loved the book. Loved it.

Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn. Read it. You won’t be sorry.

Happy Weekend, everyone!
